The location was strategic, next to famous places like Jonker street, Mahkota Parade, and the town center. Our room had climate control, an individual safe, and a flat-screen TV. - the staff was very friendly and affable, always with a smile on their face.

Nothing to comment.
We booked into a junior suite was was offered an upgrade to executive suite which is not much difference from junior except for the room size. Why would we want a bigger room for a couple with no additional features and facilities beats us. For example, rooms are dimly lit, toilets run down, no remote control for a cathode TV, no lcd or panel TV, limited and snowy channels, no morning papers, room door jammed and stuck, please check the room. The hotel should be downgraded to a grade lower and definitely not value for money. For the price we pay, we can easily get a more decent room in KL for same price. The management should buck up....not coming back...

We booked this hotel because one of us is in a wheelchair and Booked.net has put on the website that they have facilities for disabled people here. Arriving at the hotels desk we found out that we then had to book a family room ????!!!!! The manager understood the problem and gave us this "special" room without additional charges.Booked.net please contact this hotel about the facilities for disabled people! Besides the manager also the other staff members were very friendly. We will come back!
Doors from the rooms and in our room also the bathroom, were not easy closing with the result that they all made a lot of noise.

Quite central to town, staff very friendly. Bedroom very big, clean sheets, pillow slips and towels everyday.
Breakfast a bit hit and miss for westerners food being more towards asian tastes of which made up the majority of the guests.

The hotel should get from Tourism Malaysia brochures on Malacca and put at the reception desk so as to provide a guide of the good spots to visit there. A complimentary drink be given that is synonymous with Malacca cuisine.
The signage to the hotel is not adequate and also can mislead those who drive there. Let it be more prominent.

STAFFS with BAD ATTITUDE It was late arrival once we check-in..about 2100 hrs (SAT 03Nov). During at reception, i have never been greeting by reservation staff and i was wonder, he been voiced up during request IC from me. I was asking why amount was different with booking been done, and he was answer with "making face" the charges was included tax. We have order in-room dining. Once Malay waiter (name Rashid)was enter our room, he was not take off his shoes. where is his sensitivity to me as i am Muslim and i am pray in the room?? it was a small mistakes to some people, but to a person have a sensitivity with a certain things, it will make a nice become worst
